iBall Andi 5 E7 is another regular mid-ranger for the Indian mobile segment

The iBall Andi 5 E7 has dived into the mid-range mobile segment of India with a view to give some serious competition to similar contenders from Micromax, Lava, Karbonn and more. For a price that’s below Rs 7,000, the device brings some really decent features and seems like a good option for budget-conscious customers.

Let’s start with the screen of the dual SIM device. The iBall Andi smartphone is a phablet that houses a 5-inch display of FWVGA resolution. You get a 5MP camera for recording videos and making calls as well as a VGA webcam for video calling purposes. And the pictures you click can easily be saved in its 4GB onboard hoarding space. But in case it is insufficient, insert a microSD card in the dedicated slot to get about 32GB of additional storage.

The Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS is what keeps the smartphone going and it drags along a set of Google mobile services and access to the Play store. You should be able to open more than a single app as a Cortex A7 processor with two cores ticks at 1.3GHz to fuel the device from within. It seeks assistance from 512MB of RAM. And as far as the battery life is concerned, the phone should be capable of coughing up the juice for usage time of an entire day, thanks to the built-in 1850mAh power pack.

The iBall Andi 5 E7 has already been put up for sale through Snapdeal for Rs 6,999. The company has yet to launch it officially though.
