The LG Optimus F7 and F5 have scratched the surface and emerged in all their glory at the MWC. We had expected new models from the ‘L’ portfolio to be announced in Barcelona, but this proclamation sure has laid the foundation for the F series, while also inflating the company’s 4G LTE line up.
While both will come preloaded with the earlier version of Android Jelly Bean, the F7 could appeal to those on a lookout for relatively enhanced specifications. Users will be able to enjoy full HD visuals on a screen that will stretch 4.7 inches diagonally. A processor with dual cores has been embedded into the hub of the phone and it will run at a speed 1.5GHz.
An 8MP camera for users’ picture-capturing and video-recording desires will be featuring auto focus. Seen snuggling right next to the screen is the incorporated 1.3MP secondary webcam. Additional hardware components resting under the hood include a 2,540mAh battery and 2GB of RAM.
Next up is the Optimus F5 with a 4.5-inch touchscreen, which also employs IPS technology. The integrated dual core CPU will possess a clock speed of up to 1.2GHz and rely on 1GB of RAM for assistance during multitasking.
The smartphone accommodates an auxiliary lens similar to that of the other device, but it makes arrangement for a 5MP snapper to reside on the flip side. It furthermore fits a 2,150mAh battery within dimensions of 126mm x 64.5mm x 9.3mm.
As per the company, the LG Optimus F5 will be striding into stores during the Q2 of 2013 in Europe and the F7 will shortly follow suit.
