HTC One global release date set for March, brings UltraPixel camera

The HTC One release date for as many as 185 mobile operators in around 80 countries across the globe has been announced to fall in March 2013, but we are still clueless about its exact availability or price details. As was rumored, the smartphone is the proud owner of an advanced camera loaded with an UltraPixel sensor, an f/2.0 aperture lens, ImageChip, a Panorama mode, and optical image stabilization amongst others.

The UltraPixel camera of the One boasts of Zoe for capturing high-resolution images which can be viewed as 3-second snippets. It comes with a motion gallery that creates customizable highlight films using Zoes, pictures and videos, that can easily be shared via social networking websites and email. Additionally, a 2.1MP front-mounted ultra-wide angle webcam has been added to the mix for face-to-face conferencing and 1080p recording.

Rear

Based on the Android Jelly Bean platform tweaked with the new Sense UI, the flagship smartphone brings BlinkFeed with a single live stream on the homescreen for social, lifestyle and entertainment updates. The Taiwanese manufacturer has collaborated with as many as 1400 media sources like AOL, ESPN, MTV, Reuters, CoolHunting and Vice Media to name a few in order to keep users entertained and informed. Also, Sense TV transforms the device into an interactive program guide as well as a universal remote control for television sets, set-top boxes and similar gadgets.

Besides Beats Audio, it is deployed with BoomSound, front-facing stereo speakers and a dedicated amplifier. There’s HDR recording for capturing clear audio and Sense Voice for improving the call quality even in noisy surroundings. Prospective customers can expect high definition pictures as well, thanks to its 1080p 4.7-inch touchscreen with a pixel density of 468ppi.

Its multitasking properties can be attributed to the quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor ticking at 1.7GHz, while it is fueled by a 2300mAh lithium-polymer battery. The phone ships with 2GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB onboard memory. Its connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB 2.0 port with HDMI support using an external cable. The other features of the latest handset include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n and DLNA.

The HTC One will be released via service providers like Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Bell, Telus, EE, Vodafone, O2 and many more around the world.
