Wickedleak Wammy Titan 2 price and availability disclosed

Wickedleak announced the launch of Wammy Titan 2 which plays successor to the first generation device with the same moniker, can now be purchased for the price of Rs. 13,990 through the official web portal. But unlike its predecessor’s 5.5-inch display, the phone in question brings a slightly smaller touchscreen to the table, measuring 5.3 inches diagonally.

The handset’s IPS qHD capacitive touchscreen rests on the front panel and can render clear visuals in 960 x 540p resolution. Unlike other similar gadgets, it tags along a front-facing 5MP webcam along with the screen. It should facilitate face-to-face video calling over the web, while on the move. And if that’s not enough, a 12MP snapper with flashlight dominates the flip side and lets users shoot movies using the built-in recorder.

Its intuitive interface can be attributed to the Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 platform and the company has confirmed that the smartphone is upgradeable to v4.2. It can be expected to launch a couple of applications at the same time as the phone hides a quad core MTK6589 Cortex A7 processor under the hood. It ticks at a speed of 1.2GHz and takes assistance of 1GB of RAM. Although there’s just 4GB of internal storage, it has an expansion slot to extend support to a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity.

The Wi-Fi-enabled phone is compatible with 3G mobile networks and connects to mobile hotspots for internet access. This dual SIM handset boasts of Bluetooth, GPS and Adobe Flash Player 11.1 as well. Compatible with most of the common image, audio and video formats, it understands several languages such as English, Chinese, Italian, Russian, Bahasa and many more. The responsibility of keeping it charged for an entire day has been assigned to a 2300mAh battery.
