The price or the LG Optimus L5II release date may not have been revealed as yet, but the company shed some light on the stylish Android device’s global availability details. Like its sibling, the L3II, it will initially enter Brazil and the phone along with its dual SIM version will then land in regions such as Asia, Africa, Europe, Russia, Middle East and Central and North America.
Building up on the success of the first generation L series handsets, the Optimus L5II takes a step ahead as it has been loaded with some advanced design elements. Its seamless layout makes it comfortable to hold, while laser cut contours and radiant rear design claims to ensure a sleek as well as balanced profile. In addition to these, the smartphone employs smart LED lighting on the perimeter of the home button. Different colors of this LED signify different notifications like messages, missed calls and more.
Its dual SIM version measures 118.4 x 62.2 x 9.2 millimeters that makes it slightly larger than the handset with a single SIM card slot, as the latter has dimensions of 117.5 x 62.2 x 9.2 millimeters. The device will come drenched in shades of pink, black, white and titan. Its front panel accommodates a 4-inch WVGA multi-touch display and under this screen lies an intuitive user interface which can be attributed to the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 platform.
The Android OS works in tandem with the company’s UX that tags along QuickMemo for scribbling down notes from any application and Safety Care featuring Emergency Call Forwarding, My Location Notice and Phone Non-Usage. And what’s more, it boasts of Quick Button to customize a hotkey in order to instantly launch frequently-used applications.
Fueled by a single core processor running at a speed of 1GHz, the smartphone draws power from a 1700mAh battery. There’s 512MB of RAM to assist the chipset and 4GB of internal memory to hoard digital content. Additionally, a rear-facing 5MP camera with LED flash and video recording capability has been embedded on the phone too.
