The Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and 620 as well as the HTC 8X and 8S release date details have been announced by Vodafone UK, but the carrier is yet to shed some light on their price information. The service provider’s Windows Phone 8 portfolio will be up for grabs starting from tomorrow.
The flagship Lumia 920 splashed in hues of yellow and black is a 4G-ready device that boasts of advanced imaging capabilities. Its 8.7MP primary snapper with PureView imaging technology and Carl Zeiss optics rests on the flip side, while a webcam is fitted on the front panel for video calling purposes. The smartphone employs a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ capacitive touchscreen with 332ppi and a Corning Gorilla Glass film on top for resisting scratches.
Just like the aforementioned 920, the 820 variant is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and 1GB of RAM. This black and red-colored smartphone flaunts a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack capacitive 800 x 480p touch display and is armed with an 8MP rear-facing camera complete with LED flash and a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. The compact Lumia 620 drenched in shades of blue and white, shows off a 3.8-inch touchscreen as well as a 5MP camera. Its multitasking properties can be attributed to a 1GHz processor.
As for the 8X, the high-end WP8 smartphone to go up for sale in hues of california blue and black, operates with the assistance of a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor as well. The handset loaded with 1GB of RAM and 16GB onboard memory, tags along a 4.3-inch HD 720p touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 in addition to an 8MP auto focus snapper and a 2.1MP front camera. It draws power from a 1800mAh lithium-polymer battery.
And the last one on the roster is the 8S by HTC which will arrive in an atlantic blue garb. Its list of specifications include a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage and 1700mAh lithium-ion polymer battery to name a few. The device’s 4-inch Super LCD Corning Gorilla Glass multi-touch display is accompanied by a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash.
The cost of the Nokia Lumia 920, 820, 620, HTC 8X and 8S will be revealed by Vodafone UK very soon.
