The ZTE Anthem 4G MetroPCS price in the US has surfaced and it’s the first 4G LTE Android smartphone from the manufacturer to make its debut across the country. Those wanting to get their hands on the device can expect it to hit stores within the forthcoming weeks.

Prospective buyers can opt for 4G LTE service plans offered by the carrier that come with a monthly fee ranging between $40 and $70. Apart from this, there is also the latest $55 unlimited 4G LTE promotional plan that’s aimed at value-conscious customers. Coming back to the handset in question, it munches on the Gingerbread platform fueled by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor operating at 1.2GHz.

“As our first U.S. 4G LTE smartphone, we’re proud to launch the Anthem 4G with our long-time partner MetroPCS because we share their goal of providing consumers with outstanding value and a strong 4GLTE experience,” remarked Lixin Cheng, CEO, ZTE USA, and president, North America Region, ZTE.

A 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen sits pretty on the front. The handset supports HD video output through a built-in HDMI port that lets users connect the device to an external display for viewing content on a larger screen. What’s more, it’s even equipped with Dolby’s Surround Audio technology that should enhance the overall entertainment experience.

The ZTE Anthem 4G MetroPCS price in the US is tagged at $219 (approx. Rs. 11,711) after a mail-in rebate. As mentioned above, its release date is slated to fall in the coming weeks and it will be up for grabs via the carrier’s retail outlets and online store.
