AT&T Nokia Lumia 900 shines in pink across the US

Nokia Lumia 900 Pink

Apart from white, black and cyan color options, the Nokia Lumia 900 will soon be up for grabs across the US via AT&T, dressed in pretty pink. Fans can pick up the pink phone through the carrier’s online store from July 15.

Besides the color difference, this new member highlights the same features as its other siblings. For starters, the handset rides on the Windows Phone operating system and houses a Qualcomm processor that ticks at 1400MHz. To capture special moments, it tags along an 8MP 1280 x 720p shutter that teams up with a Carl Zeiss lens to deliver HD video clips. For hoarding purposes, the gadget is equipped with 512MB RAM and 16GB onboard memory along with SkyDrive cloud storage.

A 4.3-inch AMOLED touch panel spans across its 127.8mm x 68.5mm x 11.5mm one piece polycarbonate body. This indicates that the shell is pink throughout so that even if the device ends up with dents or scratches, they won’t be prominently visible. On the power front, the handset is capable of offering 3G talk time of up to 7 hours and 3G standby time of 300 hours.

Lumia 900 users can access a host of applications that include ones like Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Camera Extras and ESPN, amongst others. Users can pick up images and instantly personalize them with camera effects and captions and upload them on Facebook, through the Apict app. As mentioned on the Nokia Conversations blog, buyers can also download popular applications such as Groupon, that updates users with deals, and Fruit Ninja, a fruit chopping game that should keep the stamina high. Furthermore, the device offers microUSB, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Nokia Lumia 900 will be available for pre-order from July 15. In terms of cost, users can expect a similar $99.99 (approx. Rs. 870) price tag that is inclusive of a two-year agreement.
