Samsung Galaxy Stellar price and release date announced

Samsung Galaxy Stellar

For those eager to get a taste of the Android experience, the Samsung Galaxy Stellar Verizon price and release date details are out and its launch has been scheduled for tomorrow, September 6. This device brings along a dual interface as one of its key highlights.

As per the specifications list, this handset dons a 4-inch WVGA touch panel that offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. On the front and back panel there is a 1.3MP and 3.2MP camera, respectively. While the former can be employed for video chats, the latter should deliver decent images with AF. The company has even included the Samsung Media Hub to provide TV and film content on rent.

Coming back to dual UI, it includes a Starter and Standard Mode similar to the ones seen in the recent Pantech Marauder Verizon. The former setting mainly lends a hand to those new to the Android experience. The handset packs in a 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a microSD slot for memory expansion. Also, it has the Ice Cream Sandwich platform hosting the show with no mention of further upgrades to the Jelly Bean OS.

Users will have access to a number of applications from Amazon including Kindle, MP3, IMDB and Audible and they can browse the internet over Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 4G LTE. Other than that, the smartphone provides apps like GTalk, Google Maps, YouTube and Gmail. As always, the Play store can be accessed for downloading games, music and much more. Apart from being SAFE certified, the handset rolls in the Backup Assistant Plus for online hoarding services and media management.

The Samsung Galaxy Stellar Verizon price and release date details are disclosed. The handset can be picked up for free after a $50 mail-in rebate and a two-year agreement. It will be available via the online store and the carrier’s retail outlets starting tomorrow.
