The Nokia Lumia 820 AT&T release date has been scheduled to fall sometime during next month just as the Lumia 920. This handset tags along a number of features that are common with the latter device such as a Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.
First up on the specifications list is an 8MP rear-facing camera that offers dual LED flash for capturing images in dimly-lit conditions. This AF snapper sports an f2.2 aperture and it is capable of delivering video recording with up to 4x digital zoom. There’s even a front-facing shooter that lets users conduct video calls with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Another important highlight is the 4.3-inch capacitive multi-touch AMOLED ClearBlack display that sits pretty on the front panel.
It renders visuals in a resolution of up to 800 x 480 pixels and an aspect ratio of 15:9. Just like the Lumia 920, this device comes with Sunlight Readability enhancements in addition to the High Brightness mode for viewing content in various lighting conditions. Riding into town on the Window Phone 8 platform, it carries an exchangeable shell design that helps in wireless charging. Built around dimensions of 123.8mm x 68.5mm x 9.9mm, the Lumia handset tips the scales at 160 grams.
