Amidst the current horde of touchscreen phones, the Motorola Gleam+ stands out with its stylish clamshell design. The device has made its debut in the UK and is being offered for free through Tesco Mobile with qualifying data plans.
The ergonomic device flaunts a matrix display featuring 144 LEDs on its slim 13.5mm profile. This screen is also fitted with a glowing base light so that users do not miss out on important notifications or alerts. It tips the scale at 105 grams and sports a 2.8-inch WQVGA TFT screen that renders visuals in 400 x 240p resolutions. This handset is armed with a 2MP fixed focus camera that records videos at the rate of 12 frames per second.

Although the Gleam+ comes with 50MB onboard memory, its expansion slot allows inserting a microSD card of up to 16GB capacity. The included WAP 2.0 web browser ensures internet access and the built-in 750mAh battery provides talk time of about 4 hours 49 minutes and standby time of close to 417 hours and 26 minutes. Moreover, the communication and connectivity options comprise Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 connector, a micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Motorola Gleam+ price and availability details have been confirmed by the company. It is now up for grabs via Tesco Mobile for free with a £10 (approx. Rs. 810) monthly plan.
