Aircell innovates with new airborne smartphone

Aircell Smartphone This new offering from Aircell has been exquisitely fabricated to fulfill the requirements of frequent air travelers. The company has crafted a new gizmo mainly for business aircraft dubbed Aircell smartphone. Flaunting its intuitive, menu-driven features, the unit helps users effortlessly make and receive incoming calls aboard business aircraft with utmost ease.

Powered by the Android operating system, the device promises to render superior voice quality via several incorporated technologies and enhanced design features. Adorned by a 3.8-inch touchscreen display, this piece of innovation is Bluetooth-compatible for hands-free operation. It renders an ingenious design for interchangeable wireless or wired operation.

Offering an easy-to-use interface, the newest entrant provides drop-in replacement for existing Aircell Axxess flush-mount mobile phones. The device comes equipped with an audio jack for wired headsets and earbuds. It will lend support to Aircell’s upcoming Gogo Biz Voice service through the ATG 4000 and ATG 5000 systems.

The first shipments of this handset are scheduled to start in late 2011 and the pricing details are expected to be released soon.
