Letsbuy has announced the availability of the BlackBerry Torch 9810 in India at a special offer price. The latest QWERTY smartphone which runs on the BlackBerry 7 operating system is an enhanced version of the 3G Torch 9800.
The smartphone equips a 5MP camera with face detection and image stabilization and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor. It comes integrated with a 3.2-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with a 640 x 480 resolution. This handset incorporates 768MB of RAM and is capable of capturing 720p HD video. Featuring 8GB onboard memory, this handset also supports microSD expansion of up to 32GB.
The 3G mobile device is quite similar to its predecessor, the 9800 Torch. Measuring 111mm x 62mm x 14.6mm, it’s equipped with a new magnetic compass for supporting augmented reality apps like Wikitude and voice-activated universal search.
Other features the handset possesses are Trackpad, LED Indicators, Light-sensing, proximity-detecting screen, Flash, Zero shutter lag and BlackBerry Maps. The dual-SIM smartphone, which weighs 161g, is capable of supporting GPRS, EDGE, WLAN and Bluetooth as well as almost all video and audio formats. It provides a talk and standby time of up to 6.5 hours and 12.8 days respectively. Powered by a 1270 mAh Li-ion battery, this device accommodates support for Wi-Fi and offers up to 54 hours of music playback.
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is now available in India and can be bought online at Letsbuy.com for a price of Rs. 29,749. It comes with a one year warranty on the handset and six months for its accessories.
