We previously reported that Sprint’s first Windows Phone 7-based smartphone HTC Arrive would be hitting the markets on March 20. Recently, Wirefly made the HTC Arrive available for pre-order through their online retail store.

Sporting an elegant design, this HTC smartphone comes equipped with a full physical QWERTY keypad for easy text input. It flaunts a 3.6” tilt-up touchscreen display for better multimedia viewing.

The handset is powered by the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and features pre-loaded applications like Microsoft Mobile Office, Bing, Zune, Xbox Live and more. It implants a 5MP autofocus and flash-enabled camera capable of recording 720p HD videos for photography enthusiasts.

“We are thrilled to see more carriers embrace Microsoft’s innovative operating system,” commented Andy Zeinfeld, CEO of Simplexity, Wirefly’s parent company. “The HTC Arrive is another beautifully designed Windows Phone 7 device that we expect Wirefly shoppers will be excited to have. Wirefly is all about choice, and the HTC Arrive gives Sprint shoppers another fantastic option.”

The smartphone will come equipped with copy/paste support and has an internal memory of 16GB to suffice for data hoarding needs. Windows Phone 7’s Start screen and Live Tiles features allow users to quickly view almost anything from upcoming appointments to pending messages to game notifications.

Customers can pre-order the HTC Arrive from Sprint through Wirefly at $49.99 (approx Rs. 2,257) with a new Sprint account. The handset may be ordered for $489.99 (approx Rs. 22,125) without a plan.
