Beetel GD 470 touchscreen mobile phone debuts in India

Beetel GD 470 Mobile PhoneBeetel launched its first touchscreen mobile phone called the GD 470 yesterday, in India. Running on a 1000mAh battery, the new dual-SIM handset embeds a 2.8-inch display along with a 1.3MP camera.

The Bluetooth enabled device provides a talktime and standby time of 4 and 200 hours respectively. It is capable of supporting .3GP, .AVI, .MP4 MP3, MIDI, AMR and WAV audio and video formats of up to 25fps. Furthermore, it is integrated with an Indian calendar feature for users to check Indian festivals and Tithis.

The device comes incorporated with ‘Beetel World’ which offers multiple social networking and infotainment features such as Facebook, Snaptu, Yahoo, ibibo, Vuclip, Reuters, Hungama and Penguin.

The Beetel GD 470 touchscreen mobile phone is now available at major retail stores across India for a price of Rs. 3,300.
