Apart from the Galaxy Nexus, Verizon has also started selling the white Motorola Droid Razr.

Fueled by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and the Android 2.3 or Gingerbread OS, the smartphone should be pretty fast on its feet. Moreover, an 8MP back panel snapper and a front facing camera add weight to the specs sheet. Apps such as MotoCast and the fact that’s it’s upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich should look good to prospective users.

Sporting 16GB internal memory, the phone embeds a port for microSD cards too. As for the display, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced screen is what is offered by the smartphone. Moreover the slim form factor with a width of just 7.1mm should appear appealing to the eyes. The durability of the phone can be attributed to the Kevlar imposed backplate and reinforced Corning Gorilla Glass.

Notably, buyers will have to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan starting at $39.99 monthly access and a smartphone data package beginning at $30 monthly access for 2GB of data. It is also available online at verizonwireless.com along with a two-year agreement. An additional offer where users who purchase this smartphone receive $100 off a Droid Xyboard tablet is restricted within certain limits.

The Motorola Droid Razr price tag reads at $299.99 and it will be released from December 15, that’s today, at Verizon Wireless Communication Stores.
