Gingerbread powered Sprint Motorola Photon 4G smartphone coming this month

Motorola Photon 4G Smartphone The Sprint Motorola Photon 4G smartphone powered by 1GHz Tegra 2 processor is all set to enter markets on July 31. The Gingerbread smartphone will make an early appearance on the carrier’s official website for premiere customers on July 28 till supplies last.

The Sprint ID-capable smartphone is equipped with the Dual Core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor along with a 1GB RAM. Fitted with a 4.3-inch multitouch qHD display, the smartphone supports IT device policies. It houses a dual-LED flash 8MP camera with front facing webcam apart from a VGA camera. The internal memory of 16GB can be expanded up to 32GB using an SD card.

The The Sprint Motorola Photon 4G smartphone has Worldphone abilities along with support for 3G and 4G mobile hotspot for up to eight devices. The Photon 4G can be customized with the HD station for Webtop application. It includes a Wireless remote and HDMI cable. A Bluetooth-enabled wireless keyboard embedded with special keys for the Android Market can be used with the smartphone.

Further, the Vehicle Navigation dock provides access to maps and contacts along with streaming music from vehicle speakers through a 3.5mm audio jack. Also, there is an option of additional batteries with Battery Only charger and a Battery Bundle. Moreover, the smartphone can be protected with various cases available in different colors and prices.

The Sprint Motorola Photon 4G smartphone is priced at $199.99 (approx. Rs. 8,900) and requires a two year service agreement along with a new line or eligible upgrade.
