Several Indian online retail services are offering new smartphones for pre-order, with the Nokia E7 being the latest entrant for pre-sale. LetsBuy.com has recently put up the Xperia arc and Xperia neo handsets for pre-order.
Instead of paying the entire sum while pre-ordering, people will just have to make an interim payment of Rs. 1,000 to book the handset. The Indian online retailer has also facilitated the buying these devices by introducing an interesting cash on delivery offer.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc shows off a 4.2†touchscreen display for better photo and video clarity. It integrates an 8.1MP camera with 720p HD video capturing functionality for photography aficionados. The handset runs on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and is powered by the latest Android v2.3 OS or Gingerbread.
Sony Ericsson’s Xperia neo also runs on the Android 2.3 platform or Gingerbread. It exhibits a 3.7†touchscreen display and encompasses an 8.1MP camera with 720p HD video recording. The device is also powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc and neo with price tags Rs. 28,990 and Rs. 24,990, respectively, can be pre-ordered via LetsBuy.com. These handsets are slated for an official early April release in India.
