The Galaxy S Plus by Samsung can now be pre-ordered in India via LetsBuy. The company probably has a lot of faith in the Galaxy S Plus to continue with the success that it’s had with the Galaxy range of smartphones. The new entrant has been launched with the aim to appeal to those users who were looking for a mid-way between the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S2.
Drawing heavily from the Galaxy S, the company claims that this new device proffers a better UI, easier copy/paste features, a virtual keyboard and apparently also offers a 24 percent stronger battery in comparison. The Gingerbread powered Galaxy S Plus smartphone sports a 4-inch super AMOLED touchscreen display with its rear-side embedded with a 5MP delivering HD recording capabilities. It also features a 0.3 MP secondary camera for chats and conferences on-the-go.
The Samsung Galaxy S Plus measuring at 64.2mm x 122.4mm x 9.9 mm and weighing 108g, is Java and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) enabled, with HTML, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 3G speeds of 14.4Mbps HSPA. This will enable users to enjoy faster and effortless browsing so that they can explore the digital world at their fingertips.
The Galaxy S PLus is complete with 32MB of internal storage and 512MB RAM. It is pre-loaded with a 2GB microSD card expandable up to 32GB. So users can horde their favorite tracks and captured moments onto the handset. They also have Google services and Android apps at their disposal as well as the basic specs namely GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to deliver easy connectivity.
The Samsung Galaxy S Plus is available for pre-order on LetsBuy in India at a price of Rs. 22,499. The exact release date of the handset has not yet been revealed but it is said to be expected in the second week of October.
