iPhone users have been raving about the smartphone’s camera and now Photojojo introduces SLR lens mounts to convert it into a full fledged DSLR camera. The Photojojo SLR case for the iPhone allows users to mount Canon EOS or Nikon SLR lenses.
The iPhone’s camera is most widely used on Flickr and the mount helps enhancing its quality even further and gives it a depth of field. The custom-made aluminum mount is sufficiently strong to support heavy lenses including telephoto, wide angle, macro or fixed-fifty lenses.
The mount case is coupled with an adapter to attach the smartphone and puts to use Canon EOS and Nikon SLR lenses. It allows manual focusing and zoom without decreasing the resolution, resulting in clear vivid images. Moreover, two holes on either side of the mount case lets users hang the camera around their necks using a camera strap like a traditional DSLR camera.
The SLR lens mount case for iPhone 3G and 3G S is priced at $190 (approx. Rs. 8,425) whereas users will have to shell out $249 (approx Rs. 11,040) for the iPhone 4 case.
