Two new contenders make their way into smartphone and tablet markets to present users with additional choices. The HTC Evo 3D and HTC Evo View 4G will be available starting June 24, through Sprint.
The HTC Evo 3D allows viewing 3D images without the use of glasses. This Gingerbread-powered smartphone with 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processor features a 4.3-inch, qHD 3D display. The 5-megapixel camera captures high-quality 3D images and sharing them on social networking websites is possible at 4G speed.
The HTC Evo View 4G launched with Gingerbread, will later be updated to Honeycomb. The tablet featuring 7-inch touchscreen serves as a portable computing device comprising e-reader and media player. Along with HD like video quality, it supports web-browsing on Flash-enabled sites.

The Evo 3D requires Sprint’s Everything data plan activation starting from $69.99 and a Premium data add-on charge of $10 which includes unlimited web-browsing, texting and calling on any network. Users could save up to $39.99 per month on this plan compared to similar plans of other networks.
The plan rates for the Evo View 4G start at $34.99 which include 3GB of 3G data and unlimited 4G data usage. 3G only plans are also available on the network. The customers will get a complimentary digital pen with the phone for a limited period. Other optional services like GPS navigation for $2.99/day or $10/month are also available. Further, the hotspot option, supporting up to eight Wi-Fi devices, can be added on both devices for $29.99/month.
The HTC Evo 3D is price tagged at $199.99 (approx. Rs. 8,920) and the HTC Evo View 4G at $399.99 (approx. Rs. 17,840), both excluding taxes with a new two-year service agreement or suitable upgrade. The phones can be pre-ordered at Sprint stores on a purchase of Sprint gift cards worth $50 per device. Moreover, a few Sprint customers can get lucky online and have the Evo 3D three days before its official launch.
