Verizon Wireless to release Droid Incredible by HTC

Droid Incredible Verizon Wireless has announced the Droid Incredible by HTC, an Android enabled device. The handset features a topographic design.

Moreover, it comes with the latest version of the HTC Sense, a seven-panel homescreen with a wide selection of interactive widgets. It also enables users to enjoy seamless integration with Exchange ActiveSync, quick and easy access to Flickr to share and view files, video, and Android Market with above 30,000 Google applications.

It’s supposedly the first Verizon Wireless phone to reap the benefits of Qualcomm’s 1GHz superfast Snapdragon processor and also includes an 8 megapixel camera. Soon after the phone has been launched, users can also enjoy two new apps from Verizon Wireless namely the NFL Mobile and the Skype mobile.

The Droid Incredible has also been attributed with Friend Stream for unified Flickr, Facebook and Twitter updates, Leap view for quick access to all seven homescreen panels, Razor-sharp 3.7 inch WVGA (480×800) AMOLED capacitive touch display, optical joystick, proximity sensor, light sensor and digital compass and integrated GPS.

Starting April 19, the Droid Incredible can be pre-ordered online at verizonwireless.com while it will be available through Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on April 29. It carries a price of $199.99 (approx Rs. 8,885) after a $100 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement.
