Motorola Defy with Motoblur arrives through T-Mobile

Motorola Defy T-Mobile’s G2 was the last handset gracing the market by the network provider. Now, the company has teamed up with Motorola and unboxed the new Defy featuring Motoblur. Lately, the Defy was unfurled on the twenty-fifth season premiere of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’.

Adorning a 3.7-inch high resolution touchscreen, the smartphone’s display is protected with a scratch-resistant design. Users need not worry about dropping or slippages of the handset since it is water and dustproof. The CrystalTalk Plus technology diminishes surrounding noise with the help of two microphones for clear and enhanced sound quality.

“Defy is designed to handle everything that life throws your way. With all the features consumers expect in a smartphone, Defy packs Web browsing, entertainment and messaging capabilities as well as an exterior design that can withstand the stresses of everyday life,” shared Bill Ogle chief marketing officer, Motorola Mobility.

Social networking zealots can take advantage of the Defy’s Adobe Flash Lite-enabled web browser. Powered by Android, the handset offers access to numerous applications, widgets and gamers from the Android Market. Google services including Google Search, Google Maps and Gmail can also be utilized on the smartphone.

Further, its 5MP camera with flash, digital zoom and auto focus can set photography buffs’ heart racing. With support for DLNA, users can stream, store and share content with compatible devices like HDTVs, game consoles and PCs. Owners can simply karaoke since the device equips the capability of displaying lyrics of favorite songs as well as discover, buy and download music from the smartphone.

The Motorola Defy with Motoblur is expected to be available beginning holidays through T-Mobile. However, there’s no official word on the pricing details as yet.
