With an upswing of Android based smartphones, technology admirers seem to be realizing the meaning of featured-packed mobile devices. Bringing something innovative, AT&T has just added a new pocket-sized mobile phone to its Android smartphone portfolio, the HTC Aria.

Featuring an optical joystick, the gorgeous looking HTC Aria ensures to render all the benefits of a top-notch performance smartphone with a combination of fast 3G speeds and a receptive capacitive touchscreen. The Wi-Fi-enabled phone is compatible with HSPA 7.2Mbps technology which provides a boost to 3G speeds when combined with expanded backhaul. All these enticing features offer an exceptional mobile broadband experience.

“HTC Aria is the first of several smartphones in our Android portfolio to run the 2.1 platform. When you combine the nation’s fastest 3G network, and access to the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network, HTC Aria will be one of the best Android smartphones available,” shared Jeff Bradley, Senior Vice President, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.

The HTC Aria features the latest version of HTC Sense experience which automatically offers the highly-demanded information by bringing it to the forefront of the mobile experience. The Sense experience puts forth additional ways to stay connected, subsuming Friend Stream, which delivers Facebook, Twitter and Flickr updates in a single, consolidated view.

Jason Mackenzie, vice president of HTC America, remarked, “Its unique combination of compact size and beautiful design instantly separates HTC Aria from the pack of ‘me-too’ smartphones. But what really differentiates HTC Aria from other smartphones is the acclaimed HTC Sense experience, which we are pleased to be bringing to AT&T customers. By putting people at the center of everything it does, HTC Aria organizes all of your communications in the most human way possible – by person.”

The smartphone offers access to all Google services including Google search, Google maps, Google Navigation, Gmail, YouTube and more in addition to 50,000+ applications from the Android market. The easy to carry phone is ultra-small at 4-inches long and weighs 4.05 ounces. The phone adorns a wrap-around soft-touch back cover which eliminates sharp edges for a comfortable hold.
