Nokia brings social networking to life with new C3 and C6 Phones

Nokia has recently rolled out two new mobile devices, the Nokia C3 and the Nokia C6. Designed to bring better messaging and social networking tools, the new devices pave the way with a slew of innovative features.

The new C3 and C6 handsets sport a full QWERTY keyboard, and enable access to a range of different email accounts, IM communities and social networks. Social bugs can now view, comment, update their status and share pictures to their favorite social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

The Nokia C3 comes equipped with Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat, enabling users to set up email and chat accounts straight from their mobile phone, without the need for a PC. It also includes Wi-Fi connectivity, a 2 megapixel camera, rich color 2.4-inch screen and support for up to an 8GB memory card. The C3 pops up in a variety of eye-catchy colors, including golden white, slate grey and hot pink.

On the other hand, the Nokia C6 phone is a Symbian-based smartphone combining the benefits of a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a full slide out keyboard. In addition, with its large screen, users can now cotton to an unprecedented Internet experience. Perfect for users who want to stay up to date while on the go, the device embraces a full suite of email and social networking capabilities. Other preeminent features subsume a high quality 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, and Ovi Maps with free walk and drive navigation.

The newly unveiled Nokia C3 and Nokia C6 are anticipated to be available in the second quarter of 2010 with a price tag of €90 (approx Rs. 5,440) and €220 (approx Rs. 13,300), respectively.
