Sony Ericsson concept phone makes a pivotal point

Sony Ericsson FH Concept

Those who use their phones as the primary source of entertainment while on the move may have craved for that extra inch of screen estate at some point or the other. There’s this concept Sony Ericsson FH handset up on Yanko Design that can be flipped open just like a regular handset or opened sideways like a notebook to deliver a larger display.

Designed by Du Jun, the phone moves on a pivot that allows users to flip it open vertically and rotates sideways to become a neat little widescreen for watching videos or web browsing. Apparently, the handset also transforms into a sort of intercom when split into two, allowing users to employ it as a walkie-talkie.

What’s more, the phone appears to sport a 3.2MP camera and Bluetooth connectivity. It’s been pictured in a very slim profile design and three shades namely, pink, orange and blue. We wonder how many people besides us are wishing that it would hit shelves – at a price that doesn’t burn the wallet, of course.
