Verizon Wireless has just come up with Blackberry 9650, the first global phone from the company to support GlobalAccess Connect. The integrated GlobalAccess Connect will allow users to connect their trendy smartphone to their notebook and use it as a modem for wireless internet access in more than 200 countries across the globe.

Sporting a stylish design with glossy black finish and chrome highlights, the Bold 9650 is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and optical trackpad for easy navigation. The highlighting feature of the device ‘Push to Talk’ allows users to execute control over the wireless 3G network for instant two-way communication with up to 50 people with the touch of a button.

The VZ Navigator version 6 and VZ Navigator Global Capacities are also included in the phone for users who want to take advantage of enhanced navigation services. Clicking photos and watching videos will be fun with its cool 3.2 megapixel camera and a large 2.45-inch high-resolution display. Keeping users’ entertainment in the mind, the smartphone paves the way with Bluetooth 2.1, advanced media player for videos, pictures and music, a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack and support for the Bluetooth Stereo Audio Profile (A2DP/AVCRP).

With this beguiling piece, users can now effortlessly sync and store music files, photos and more with the Blackberry Media Sync and 512MB flash memory/2GB microSD card (pre-installed) with up to 16GB expandable. It provides support for BlackBerry App World. In addiiton, easy mobile access to Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and popular instant messaging services, including Blackberry Messenger is also possible with this trendy device. Other preeminent aspects include built-in GPS, full HTML Web browser, the ability to stream audio and video via RTSP, removable and rechargeable 1400 mAhr battery for up to 5 hours of CDMA talk time, mobile e-mail, and messaging capabilities.

The Blackberry Bold 9650 smartphone will be available online beginning June 3 and in stores beginning June 10 for $149.99 (approx Rs. 7,000) after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
