Samsung Star S5230 to support Wi-Fi

Samsung Star S5230 After being colored in pink to support the Think Pink campaign, the Samsung Star S5230 is now all set to get a makeover reports Engadget iMobile. Reportedly, the Samsung Star will now support Wi-Fi connectivity. The new version of the Star S5230 with Wi-fi will be dubbed as the Tocco Lite.

At present, the company plans to launch two versions of the Star S5230 called the Samsung Star S5230W and the Samsung Star S5233W. Unlike the previous Samsung Star that incorporated only EDGE connectivity, both these versions will incorporate Wi-Fi connectivity. The other specifications of these new handsets are similar to the original Samsung Star. But we would surely love to see a better and faster processor that enhances the entire touch experience in these new handsets.

The company plans to launch the Samsung Star S5230W in the Europe while it plans to unveil the Samsung Star S5233W in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The pricing and availability details of the new versions are yet to be disclosed. We expect to hear more about the new handsets in the weeks to come.
