Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of a new Walkman phone called the Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman phone. The slick slider phone is powered with great music features that will surely delight music lovers.

The Sony Ericsson W395 phone includes features like a 2.0 inch crystal clear display screen, 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, Walkman player, Bluetooth connectivity and a web browser.

The phone sports a TrackID feature which helps users to find songs, while its PlayNow function enables a user to download a wide range of mobile content.

“Sony Ericsson takes pride in understanding the youth market, and the W395 is a mobile phone that caters to all their needs with great music quality. Our most affordable Walkman slider phone to date allows users to share music with friends as well as video clips and photos for the ultimate entertainment experience,” Alexandre Cardon, Global product marketing manager (music) at Sony Ericsson.

The phone is packed with other features like video streaming, java and 3D games, organizer and a 1GB memory storage space.

The battery of the phone provides a standby time of upto 480 hours and a talktime of upto 8 hours. Users can also listen to music on the phone for about 12 continuous hours.

The Sony Ericsson W395 handset will be available in two colors namely the Dusky Grey and the Blush Titanium. While the pricing details of the phone are not yet known, it is expected to be available in Q1, 2009.
