Global warming is on the rise and if efforts are not taken to curb the constant rise in pollution levels, this situation might reach a stage beyond damage control. In an effort to turn the everyday products eco-friendly, Sprint has now expanded its range of accessories with chargers and device cases.
The first product in the ‘green’ phone accessory range is the all new eco-friendly mobile phone charger. This device is an All-In-One vehicle and wall charger, which means that it can be conveniently put to use when one is traveling in their car or sitting at home/office. This gadget will also feature an inline USB port that permits two devices to charge simultaneously. The eco-friendly charger also operates within Energy Star guidelines.

Sprint is a leader in the wireless industry with its environmental efforts, as shown by the launch of the Samsung Reclaim, a growing portfolio of eco-friendly accessories and our ambitious wireless recycling efforts.â€
By the beginning of the next month, Sprint will unleash the SOLIO solar powered charger. This device will be featured in the dedicated green section of Sprint retail stores. The other offering is the SOLIO Mono Hybrid Charger that can be availed online. This lineup of chargers allows mobile phone users to charge their handsets from either solar energy or electrical sockets.
Sprint had come up with its eco-friendly handset, the Samsung Reclaim which is declared to be the first phone in the US to be partly made from corn-based bio-plastic. Now, if the phone is eco-friendly then so should be its cover. Hence here come Eco-Friendly Universal Cases made from sustainable materials such as cotton and linen. These covers are recyclable and can be used for almost all the handsets that Sprint offers. These covers also come in a choice of two different sizes.
The All-In-One charger will come with a price tag of $39.99. While the eco-friendly universal cases can be availed for a price of $19.99 each.
