Sprint officially announces BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone

BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone Sprint has announced that it will now offer the all new BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone. Customers can now pre-register for this smartphone at the company’s official website.

The Curve comes embedded with several multimedia applications like BlackBerry Media Sync, Sprint Music Store, Sprint TV and Pandora. The smartphone also boasts of its ability to offer easy and speedy connectivity to sites like Facebook, MySpace and Flickr. The Curve 8530 also incorporates dedicated keys that allow users to skip to the next song, pause and play.

BlackBerry Curve 8530 continues that legacy with the addition of several important features that make it a winner for both entertainment and productivity,” said Kevin Packingham, Sprint Senior Vice President of Product Development. “This is one device that can really do it all with the email, calendar and contact synchronization BlackBerry is known for as well as the latest multimedia and social media features. We are anxious to bring it to our customers who also appreciate the strength of our network, the affordability of our rate plans and our Ready Now customer service experience.”

Sprint’s BlackBerry Curve 8530 will also offer instant access to the BlackBerry App World. The App World offers users thousands of applications for their handsets. The Curve will be made available with Sprint’s affordable Everything Data plans. These plans now include the Any Mobile, Anytime, a feature that removes restrictive calling-circles and provides unlimited calling on the Sprint network. The Everything Data plans are available for a starting price of $69.99 per month.

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone is now up for pre-registration on the company’s official web site. The handset will be made available in three colors including Black, Royal Purple and Red. However, the pricing and availability details are still under wraps.
