Sharp unveils its latest SH001 phone in Japan via KDDI’s CDMA 1X WIN 3G network. The highlight of the phone is its 8MP camera that comes with a palette of creative functions.
The SH001 phone is enriched by an 8 MP camera that includes functions like face recognition and auto focus. It can also shoot with an ISO sensitivity of upto 2, 500. High ISO settings will allow users to capture photos in dim conditions without using the flash. The phone has a 3 inch LCD screen with 480 x 854 resolutions and integrates about 26 million colors.
The Sharp SH001 incorporates a special noise-canceling feature that enables users to have clear and noise free conversations even in busy or crowded areas. For better understanding, callers may also slow down their speech by using a special dedicated Slow Talk button. The phone sports a cut function that lets users copy text which flows over the character limit to convert it into an email or a text message.
The other attributes of the phone include electronic dictionary, e-wallet, GPS support, Bluetooth and infrared wireless connectivity. The SH001 is bundled with an internal memory of 740MB that can be expanded further by using an external microSD card slot.
The much awaited phone comes in three doting colors, white pink and black. The SH001 phone will start shipping soon this year at an expected price of $440 (Approx Rs 21, 500).
