Verizon and HTC have announced the availability of HTC Touch Pro smartphone on the Verizon Wireless network in the US.
Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, the compact and stylish phone sports an intuitive touch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and TouchFLO 3D graphical interface.
The other features of the HTC Touch Pro include a vivid 2.8-inch VGA display; up to 16 GB microSD memory card, 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash, business card reader and Verizon Wireless’ VZ Navigator service.
Users can also connect the handset to a television or a projector via a separately sold video-out cable.
Beginning 1st December, the HTC Touch Pro smartphone will be available for order at Verizon stores for a suggested price of $349.99 (approx. Rs. 17,300) with a two-year agreement and after $70 mail-in rebate.
