Palm Treo 800w CDMA Handset Prototype Images Spotted

Palm Treo 800w Here is a new mobile phone that comes under the moniker of “Zeppelin” tag. One of the websites has leaked the images of a prototype Palm Treo 800w. The handset is probably going to be a CDMA device that comes with a microUSB instead of the usual miniUSB.

As per the speculation, the Palm Treo 800w will apparently work on a touchscreen interface that delivers a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and comes with EV-DO Rev.0. However, we have no clue as to who exactly will support EV-DO. Either it would be Sprint or Verizon Wireless.

Further, the rumor stated that the 800w will be based on Windows Mobile 6.1 with a speed rate of on a 400 MHz processor, and will incorporate Wi-Fi, GPS, 128MB of RAM and have 256 MB of flash memory.

We overheard whispers saying that the Palm Treo 800w CDMA phone is possibly coming on shelves around 22nd June. The Window Mobile 6.1-enabled handset was expected to release in April. However, the delay was due to the processor integration.

Let’s hope that this rumor transforms into an official confirmation date.
