Samsung rumored to come out with an 8 MP camera phone

Samsung i850 Recently there have been rumors circulating that Samsung will be coming up with a new mobile phone named i850. Apparently this new handset will have a Symbian S60 OS and will sport an 8 megapixel camera. Some of its leaked specs on the internet tell us that this phone is worth considering.

The Samsung i850 phone will possibly feature a 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) display, an 8.0 megapixel camera, auto-focus, Xenon flash, 120 fps video recording, WiFi, GPS, HSDPA, TV out, support for DivX and 3D graphics chip.

Samsung i850 is said to measure 106.5×53.9×16.9 mm. It also might come with a large16 GB internal memory. Well, the goodies don’t end there. The Samsung i850 reportedly packs up abundant features like built-in FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery and supports MPEG4, WMV and 3GP video,. The battery life would offer standby time of 280 hours and voice time of 6 hours.

The Samsung i850 phone looks like a strong contender to the iPhone. Well, we can’t talk about its availability now. Hope it does not drill a hole in our pockets.
