Few days ago we had reported about the rumored miCoach F110 phone from Adidas and Samsung. Now the two companies have officially announced the launch of the SGH-F110 miCoach phone. As we know, the new phone is targeted at the fitness conscious lot.

The phone incorporates heart rate monitor and step counter. While the miCoach system delivers instant feedback of the workout.

The phone comes along with a belt that can be worn around the chest, which measures the heart beat. A stride sensor, which needs to be clipped on to the shoe laces, is used for step count.

Besides, the miCoach system allows users to record all the information in the phone, which can later be transferred on miCoach’s fitness website.

  • The SGH-F110 miCoach phone is expected to arrive in Europe by mid-March 2008. There is no word regarding price as of now.
