Nokia 2608 Clamshell Phone Announced

Nokia has announced the launch of its latest CDMA clamshell phone, dubbed Nokia 2608.

The flip phone’s features include video recording capability, quick press flashlight, FM radio, integrated speakerphone and a LED indicator light. The 2608 can also double up as a modem with its quick touch access. It also allows users to utilize basic functions like sending business cards or calendar appointment via SMS.

Housed in high-gloss exterior and racy stripes, the entry-level Nokia 2608 phone is available in fuchsia with pink stripe, silver with green stripe or black with blue stripe.

The Nokia 2608 clamshell phone is scheduled to roll out in selected CDMA markets by first quarter of 2009. No word on the pricing.
