Verizon Wireless and Motorola have tied up to announce the availability of the MOTORIZR Z6tv that features V CAST Mobile TV, V CAST Music and Video for the first time.
The sleek slider phone offers 24-hours of entertainment for the user as they can access broadcast-quality full-length TV shows via V CAST Mobile TV from the Verizon. The shows that are available include “Late Show with David Letterman,” “24” and “Dora the Explorer”. Moreover, consumers can also access television content from channels such as CBS Mobile, Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile TV, Fox Mobile, MTV, NBC 2GO, NBC News2GO, and Nickelodeon.
Verizon’s V CAST Mobile TV enables customers to enjoy fast channel surfing, view upcoming programs on the easy-to-use program guide and access parental control features.
Additional features of the MOTORIZR Z6tv include an integrated digital audio player and support of .mp3 and .wma music files, 2.0 megapixel camera, Video capture and playback, Landscape and portrait modes available for TV, video or camera capture, Location-based services-capable. In addition it has text, picture and video messaging capabilities, Bluetooth stereo headset support, 2.5mm headset jack and over 50MB of internal memory along with optional microSD expansion slot.
The MOTORIZR Z6tv offers an access Get It Now applications, including VZ Navigator(SM) that allows users to access location information to more than 14 million points of interest. V CAST Music enables consumers to enjoy over-the-air full-track downloads from a library of more than 2.1 million songs.
The price for the MOTORIZR Z6tv phone will be $179.99 (approx. Rs. 7300) after a $50 rebate. A 2-year agreement with monthly access charged for the mobile TV service at $13 to $25 will also be followed.
