Today Nokia released as many as four mobile phones at an event in London. The new comers are Nokia N81 and Nokia N81 8GB, Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia 5310 XpressMusic and Nokia 5610 XpressMusic.
“From the compact Nokia 5310 XpressMusic music phone to the fully-featured Nokia N81 multimedia computer, Nokia offers a range of entertainment-enabled devices for consumers who want their music, games and favorite media with them wherever they go,” said Kai Oistamo, Executive Vice President, Nokia.
“We believe these full-featured, well-designed devices will be very popular and will help bring Nokia’s Internet and music services to life,” continued Oistamo.
Nokia N81: Nokia N81 is an N series phone having dedicated music and gaming keys. The device also features 3.5 mm headphone connector along with 3G and WLAN connectivity. Thus it provides good entertainment as well as keeps you in touch. The N81 is also available in the capacity of 8GB. The N81 will be priced at 360 EUR (excluding taxes) while the N81 8GB carries price tag of 430 EUR (excluding taxes).
Nokia N95 8GB: Nokia’s much discussed device – the N95 will now be available in 8GB built-in capacity. Features of the device are: 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, built-in A-GPS, WLAN, HSDPA and an innovative 2-way slide. Besides, it sports 2.8″ QVGA display. The N95 with increased capacity will be available at the price of EUR 560 before subsidies or taxes.
Nokia 5310 XpressMusic: As the name suggests this phone is made for music lovers and offers 18 hours of music playback and supports 4GB microSD card. Also it features a dedicated music key. Besides the music features, the Nokia 5310 sports a 2-megapixel camera and a bright 2-inch QVGA screen with up to 16 million colors. It will come in the market at the price 225 EUR before taxes and subsidies.
Nokia 5610 XpressMusic is also a music oriented phone. Its aluminum side panels accent the all-black high gloss finish. It also has a large 2.2-inch, 16 million color. The Nokia 5610 features a high-quality 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. It also supports 4GB microSD card. Nokia 5610 XpressMusic uses 3G technology that makes downloads, web-browsing and video calls faster and easier. This music phone will be available for EUR 300 before taxes and subsidies.
All the phones are expected to ship by Q4 of 2007.

I wanted to know when exactly the N95 8GB would be launched i India, Its october already what are they waiting for…I was planning to buy a N95 for Rs. 25,000/- its big money, thats what made me think twice.. First is the price for it will drop as sooon as the 8GB edition comes in and besides the 8GB one is a better looking phone, with improved battery, bigger screen etc… and ah! forgot MEMORY…. see memory becomes a very cruicial part to N95s success because there have been reports that this portable computers are equipped to handle multi tasking situations… like two different applications working at the same time…. wouldn’t this make it an awful waste… what i am talking about is the Internal dynamic memory…. ie essentially the RAM… its 64mb for the earlier one of which 44 mb is used up in standby(what remains?)…but the 8GB one would come with 128MB comparable to computers to an extent….so it becomes a faster phone…. doesn’t it… and the bigger screensize would also be a very welcome additon… you also get a better newer battery, leather case and a stereo heasdet included in the sales package…. Now the question is how much does all this cost…? i am just guessing…. probably 32,000/- probably… 30K… anyways it’ll be very hard on me….. anythin less than 30k would be good news to me…. and anyone who is aware of the release date of the 8gb n95 please let me know… send me an email to: [email protected] i’d be obliged.
