Psion Teklogix iKon Smartphone Launched

Psion Teklogix iKon PDA phone Psion Teklogix has released a new PDA iKon Phone, called the iKon to celebrate its 40th year anniversary.

Developed with all the classic features, iKon comes with a big 3.7-inch VGA display with 640 x 480 resolution, a built-in 2.0 megapixel camera for the photos and videos, and WiFi with Bluetooth in terms of the wireless connections.

The device comes with 128 MB of RAM, 128 MB of flash memory and also supports iKon’s Micro SD slot.

Moreover, the latest smartphone also acts as a GPS. In regards to connectivity option, it also has GPS, GSM, GPRS and UMTS. The company also provides an option for operating system. You can either run the device with Windows Mobile 6 Classic/Pro version or with Windows CE.net 5.

Psion Teklogix ikon also bundles a barcode scanner. This sturdy phone resist falls from five feet, and also can withstand sandstorms and downpours with equal finesse.

The iKon is expected to hit the shelves in December 2007, price has not been revealed yet by the Psion Teklogix.
