Intex has finally entered the Communications arena with the launch of three light weight GSM mobile phones namely Aura, Infi and King in the Indian market. And, they are also pre-loaded with popular Walt Disney content such as Pirates of the Caribbean.
The Intex Aura is a metallic handset equipped with a USB Web camera, 1GB memory provided through a microSD card and a one-touch 1.3 mega pixel digital camera with 5 x1 zoom facility. This phone also has an MP3 player.
The Intex Aura is 11.8mm thick and weighs 90gms. Its 800 mAh battery provides a long lasting battery life. The Intex Aura mobile phone is available in royal god and shining black for a price of Rs.8000.
The Intex Infi handset has two in-built speakers, a 128MB in-built memory, one touch FM radio and a one-touch smart digital camera with 4 x1 zoom. This mobile phone is equipped with space for 100 phone book entries.
The Intex Infi handset available in a silver finish and weighing 68gms has a price from Rs.2000 to Rs.8000.
The Intex King is a monochrome handset that also features one touch FM radio, soft keys, simplified iconic menu, speed dialing, polyphonic ring tones, instrumental melody composer, stand by time of 300 hours and a large message- SMS/EMS up to 612 characters in Hindi and English.
Again the price of the Intex King handset has not been specified, but we do know for sure that it lies somewhere in the price range of Rs.2,000 to Rs.8,000.
