Apple iPhone upgraded: Long battery life and a more durable screen

Apple Inc. has revealed the enhancement of its Apple iPhone before the launch, which is on 29th June.

Apple iPhone The remarkable improvisation are the better battery life and the entire top surface of the iPhone, including its 3.5-inch display, has been advanced from plastic to optical quality resulting in a superior level of scratch resistance and optical clarity.

The company boasts up to 8 hours of talk time, 6 hours of Internet use, 7 hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback and up to 250 hours of standby time.

Furthermore, the iPhone provides new software that allows users to control the device with just a tap, flick or pinch of their fingers. It even delivers a new user interface based on a multi-touch display. This 3-in-1 iPhone allows the consumer to enjoy the combination of a mobile-phone, a widescreen iPod and the Internet (email, web browsing, and maps) into this small and lightweight handheld.

Commented Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, “With 8 hours of talk time, and 24 hours of audio playback, the iPhone’s battery life is longer than any other ‘Smartphone’ and even longer than most MP3 players. We’ve also upgraded the iPhone’s entire top surface from plastic to optical-quality glass for superior scratch resistance and clarity. There has never been a phone like the iPhone, and we can’t wait to get this truly magical product into the hands of customers.”

At 4.8 ounces, the Apple iPhone measures 4.5″ x 2.4″ x 0.46″ along with features such as a screen resolution of 320×480, OS X, quad-band GSM/EDGE, 802.11g wireless and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity options.

The Apple iPhone, as declared, will be available in U.S on June 29. The cost of the device will be $499 for 4GB model and $599 for 8GB model. The iPhone will work with either a PC or Mac.
