Nokia has launched new phone called Nokia 6110 Navigator, which incorporates navigation capabilities.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator offers quick and user friendly maps, routing and voice guided navigation. The navigation is give one touch access. Thus users can easily view their current location, quickly search for destinations, find specific routes, or locate services such as restaurants, hotels or shops that are nearby.
“During Long Way Round we kept getting lost and had to rely on anything from landmarks to advice from locals in all sorts of languages to find our way, so getting a proper navigational tool for Long Way Down was a real priority” said Ewan McGregor. “We’ve been playing around with the Nokia 6110 Navigator before setting off and it’s just what we need to stay on track”.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator has brought together GPS (Global Positioning System) and AGPS (Assisted Global Positioning System) successfully. Besides, the Navigator phone supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks.
The Nokia 6110 Navigator will be available in shops across Europe, Asia, Middle East, and selected countries in Latin America. Nokia has already begun the shipping, thus the 6110 Navigator should be available in the markets soon.
