Samsung intros Beyonce Special Edition B’Phone

Samsung B'Phone Samsung Telecomm America has announced the launch of its upcoming music phone called the Beyonce Special Edition B’Phone, exclusively to Sprint.

The B’Phone features a dual-sided design that offers an MP3 player look on one side and a phone look on the other. Further, it also optimizes music capabilities.

As an update to the popular award-winning UpStage, Samsung has designed the phone with the sophisticated burgundy and gold colors to complement the style and glamour of the Grammy-winning artist, Beyonce.

Preloaded with special Beyonce-styled start-up screen, the phone also offers the user an exclusive access to load premium video and music content from the Sprint Website onto the mobile phone. It also provides exclusive Beyonce photo gallery and videos, as well as a childhood song from Beyonce that she sang when she was just 10.

The B’Phone offers an attractive and glamorous update to our music-centric lineup, along with content you can’t find anywhere else on a mobile phone,” said Peter Skarzynski, Senior Vice President at Samsung Telecommunications America.

  • An easy-to-access keyguard switch to prevent accidental dialing
  • Wireless Backup to quickly restore contact information if your phone is lost or stolen
  • Up to 6.3 hours of talk time
  • 14 hours of music listening
  • The Samsung Beyonce Limited Edition B’Phone works on the Sprint Mobile Broadband network and also gives an opportunity to the consumers to access Sprint’s exclusive multimedia content such as Sprint TV with 50 channels of television programming that includes over 24 live channels and Sprint Music Store, which provides customers quick over-the-air music downloads of full-length songs for just 99 cents.

    The latest phone also sports Sprint Music Manager for fast and easy transfer or ‘sideload’ the unprotected songs to the phone from the computer through USB cable. It also comes with an enhanced stereo Bluetooth 2.0 as well as Bluetooth caller ID for the owner to identify callers with a spoken voice while they listen to music.

    The B’Phone by Samsung also has the multitasking capabilities that help users to listen to music while messaging, playing games or surfing the Internet.

    The Samsung Beyonce Limited Edition B’Phone will be available from 4th November this year through selected Wal-Mart stores.
