Nokia has expanded its multimedia targeted N-series with the N82 phone in the Indian market. The new phone optimizes multimedia experiences like photography, navigation and Internet connectivity.
The N82 phone is equipped with 5 MP camera, Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss optics. Fast camera activation, autofocus with a dedicated autofocus assist lamp, fast reloading between shots and DVD-like quality video are some of the key features of the N82’s camera.
“The evolution of camera capabilities in mobile devices has been extremely rapid over the past couple of years. With the Nokia N82, we have accomplished a very superior level in image quality, speed and ease of use and it is a credible alternative for the single purpose digital still cameras,” said Vineet Taneja, Business Director, Multimedia, Nokia India.
“In addition to the high-end camera, the Nokia N82 also enables users to navigate and discover new places, enjoy their music, browse the Web, play games, chat online and be part of the global Web 2.0 community wherever they go. Thanks to the wireless broadband connectivity, convergence and its increased performance, the Nokia N82 is all people need in their pocket,” added Taneja.
A-GPS and preinstalled Nokia maps will help users to locate the places in the country or abroad. Also the N82 comes with a free voice guided navigation trial for three months. If found suitable, users can also purchase additional features, such as city guides and longer navigation subscription.
Moreover, the N82 features Wi-Fi connectivity delivering high speed of Internet. It allows users to share images and videos with the single push of a button.
Apart from the above features the new phone also supports the Ovi family of Nokia Internet services, including Nokia Music Store, N-Gage games and Nokia Maps.
