Vodafone has officially announced plans to offer the Samsung F700 smartphone exclusively in Europe, in November this year.

Samsung F700 is said to be the true Apple iPhone rival. It features a 2.78 inch TFT touch-screen with 440x240px resolution, 3MP camera, microSD card slot and the QWERTY keyboard. It can play audio and video files and also supports 3G and HSDPA networks.

Running on Samsung Croix user interface, the phone sadly lacks Wi-Fi and iTunes.

Vodafone will also introduce the 8GB Nokia N95, the Blackberry Curve 8319 and the Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone W910i along with the Samsung F700.

In addition, Vodafone has also launched MusicStation music service for mobile users where they can download unlimited music from all the major record labels. This service is available from Omnifone.

However, it’s not clear as to which mobile service provider will be used for the iPhone in the European market.
