Best Buy UK shutting doors with closing down sale

Best Buy UK Closing Down Sale

Drawing shut curtains with a closing down sale, Best Buy UK is all set to shut operations both online as well as in stores from 15 January, 2012 onwards. The sale has brought with it up to 50 percent lowered prices on certain products. Among the mention-worthy deals are 10 percent price cuts on TVs, DVD players, accessories and more as well as up to 25 percent reductions on home phones, software and so on and so forth.

It goes without saying that different products have been categorized with discounted rates that fall under 10 percent to 50 percent. The deals can be redeemed by making use of the offer code provided by the company on checkout. The decision is said to have come into effect following the outcome of the company’s strategic employee consultation.

“We’ve loved bringing our passion for the latest and greatest technology to Britain over the past 2 years, and have always had the utmost appreciation, respect, and commitment to the entire UK marketplace, our customers and stakeholders. However, as you may know, based upon the outcome of our employee consultation, we intend to cease retail trading at our Best Buy UK branded stores & website by the 15th January 2012. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause you,” shares Steve Jensen, Managing Director, Best Buy UK in an open letter.

Best Buy UK Sale

Best Buy is not making any new vouchers available. But those who already possess gift cards can make use of these before the trading operations shut down for good. It is owing to the preparations for this current sale that the Best Buy stores in UK were closed down on November 26 and November 27.

Prospective customers can either access the company’s official website or visit the stores to avail of the Best Buy UK closing down sale.
