The Sinch by frog keeps headphone cords detangled

The Sinch Headphone Accessory

Created by frog, the Sinch is a small accessory designed to keep headset cords from entanglement. This design by frog is a strip like device which can hold cords to the phone or even separately.

The Sinch employs magnets at two places in the strip, which click together to form a loop. This loop formation holds the cord together in uniform circles, thus avoiding any entanglement.

“At its core, the Sinch product is a great example of how frog designers and engineers work together with clients to solve an everyday problem – in this case, tangled headphone cords – with an innovative, elegant solution. We are thrilled by our collaboration with Dune Road Design, which extends beyond the design of the product itself. We worked closely with the company from early ideation to product industrialization,” expressed Robert Curtis, executive director of product design at frog.

At the end opposite to the magnet embedded one, an opening big enough to go through a 3.5mm jack is strategically placed. This holds the head of the cords, irrespective of whether it is in use or not. Also, when in use, the head gets placed over the outlet of the cord from the device in use, while the rest of the body of the Sinch secures itself to the back of the music playing gadget by utilizing its magnets.

The Sinch by frog is being introduced for a price of $15.99 (approx Rs. 758). Presently available in classic colors like white and black, frog promises to deliver a wider range of shades and other complementary products too, in the near future.
