Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone comes to US

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Phone Nokia announces the availability of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone in the US. With all music essentials and a touch screen interface, it is available at an affordable price.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone packs in a graphic equalizer, 8GB memory, an in-built surround stereo bar, 3.5mm jack and support for major digital music formats.

Along with a touch screen interface, the phone lets you effortlessly access music, video and photos via a one-touch ‘Media Bar’ drop down menu. It offers a direct link to the Web and online sharing with the Media Bar and also supports Flash content. While the ‘Contacts Bar’ lets you highlight up to four favorite contacts and you can also track a digital history of recent text messages, emails, phone logs, photos and blog updates with a single touch.

The spec sheet reveals a 3.2-inch widescreen display, 16:9 aspect ratio, 30 fps playback and recording, VGA quality video recording and playback, 3.2 MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens. Share your images/ videos through online communities like Ovi Share, Flickr, or Facebook with a single touch.

It also offers a virtual alphanumeric keypad, a virtual computer-style QWERTY keyboard, a pen stylus and plectrum.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone is priced at 399 USD and will be available via Nokia Flagship stores (New York and Chicago), Nokia USA website as well as few retailers and e-tailers.
