LG to release its watchphone called the GD910 in UK in August, says Engadget. Announced at CES, the LG GD910 watchphone was said to arrive in July.
Along with the 3G and HSDPA technology, the watchphone features a 1.43-inch color LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.
The array of features of this 13.9mm thick device also includes text-to-speech (TTS) capabilities, voice dialing with speech recognition, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity, MP3 playback and video camera.
With 3G connectivity, users can easily connect to a wide variety of devices including netbooks, laptops, and MIDs. This enables quick wireless transfer of data.
The integrated video camera offers video recording or conferencing while the Bluetooth connectivity ensures easy transfer of files.
The price of the LG GD910 watchphone is likely to be £1000 (approx. Rs.78,847).
